Scotland
I have lived in Scotland all my life and enjoyed many trips to both the lowlands and the highlands.
My favourite area is the west coast and the Inner and Outer Hebrides. This area includes fantastic wildlife, rugged seascapes, great seafood, many Munros (a Scottish mountain over 3,000ft), white-sand beaches and countless castles. My favourite locations for shooting are all on or off the west coast: Glencoe, Isle of Harris, Glen Etive and the Isle of Mull. These striking areas are often blessed with dramatic lighting, few people and are the habitats of huge herds of red deer and sea and golden eagles which are some of my favourite (albeit extremely challenging) subjects.
